It's hard for me to hear all the these people whining and carrying on about how much B of A claims sucks. I have called them with every issue AND with every issue they have taken care of the problem immediately! I have to wonder if it's user error. No, I dont work there and no I don't even think they're the greatest bank with all their fees. But I do have to give credit where it is due
Wow ! I am currently experiencing the same thing deposited a 1000.00 check and the atm ate it .and the computer froze while processing the transaction . BOA says they will do everything they can but It is still in progress and It is an uneasy feeling to not have much information from the claims dept. This is the worse situation I hope my employer does not have to stop check and reissue .
An atm ate a 400 check of mine & they did not find it or recover the funds. & it's costing my employer 36.00$ to stop check & issue a new one. In the letter that was sent to me, it says "We'll refund any stop payment fees you incur." Well, not only is it a total waste of my time to be dealing with this, but when i reached out the claim's dept they said they couldn't refund the stop payment fee because it wasn't thru bank of america. I have to lose 36.00 because the atm ate my check??? BS! I am calling them back tomorrow & raising hell. & soon, oh soon BofA.. I am moving to Wells Fargo.
