I purchased a Briggs and Statton generator last year in October, used it in August of this year for our camping trip, and the motor stopped working, and I'm told that no oil was in the engine. The engine had oil in it and it only has 77.5 hours on it. I'm not understanding why Briggs and Stratton won't honor their warranty. I simply can't afford to put $1,000 for an engine for a brand new generator, that has only 77 hours of use. I can't get anyone from customer service when I call. Everything's automated.
